Clayton Nicholas, Vibronyx CEO, was invited to present an update of the company’s Modernization and Readiness Analysis of Food Management Systems project at the annual Defense Manufacturing Conference (DMC). The DMC brings together over 1,500 leaders and manufacturing subject matter experts from government, industry, and academia to exchange information and perspectives on defense manufacturing policies, strategic direction, best practices, funding opportunities, and the latest manufacturing innovations that will benefit our warfighters.

Nicholas discussed the Subsistence Supply Chain Digital Transformation strategy developed to support the design, development and maintenance of a Joint Food Management System (JFMS).  He also highlighted prototype dashboards developed by Vibronyx to visualize the DoD’s food supply chain across global Combatant Command geographies and to manage the supply chain using analytics-driven KPIs and metrics. Further, Nicholas reviewed a Future State JFMS Reference Architecture with envisioned data integration, analytics and automation capabilities to improve the Subsistence supply chain’s reliability, costs, agility and customer satisfaction.
