Clayton Nicholas, Vibronyx CEO, was invited to present an overview of the company’s vision and plan to execute its Modernization and Readiness Analysis of Food Management Systems R&D project at the semi-annual R&DA Conference.
The Research and Development Associates for Military Food and Packaging (R&DA) is an industry organization whose mission is to provide the safest and highest quality food and food service to the U.S. Armed Forces. Meeting participants included hundreds of Department of Defense food supply chain stakeholders including Defense Logistics Agency and Military Services leadership, food industry manufacturers and distributors. Nicholas discussed the multi-phased plan to engage all DoD food supply chain stakeholders during the project using three primary workstreams: Current State Analysis, Future State Visioning and development of a Digital Transformation Playbook.
Further, Nicholas discussed using current supply chain data across stakeholders to create a prototype analytics warehouse and to develop proof-of-concept analytics using machine learning and other advanced analytics techniques.
